Literally The Fastest — Privacy Notice
Effective September 15, 2026 · Version 2026-09-15-v2.
Literally The Fastest, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company, provides an invite-only inventory-analysis service for US dealerships. Contact support@literallythefastest.com with privacy questions or requests. This notice covers our service and related support communications; independent third-party websites have their own notices.
Information we handle
- Account and access information: names, email addresses, authentication identifiers, dealership affiliation, role, invitation status, and agreement records. Clerk handles sign-in credentials and sessions; our application uses the verified identity and dealership membership to authorize access.
- Workspace information: vehicle inventory such as lot numbers, VINs, make, model, year, mileage, title/condition inputs and ZIP codes; dealer costs, budgets and preferences; saved analyses, selected vehicles, and imported field mappings. The app processes CSV contents and retains normalized records and validation results rather than keeping the original uploaded file as an archive.
- Market evidence: third-party listings and references, search parameters, and historical analysis inputs and outputs.
- Technical and support information: service activity, security events, error and delivery logs, timestamps, and information supplied in support requests. Our hosting and authentication providers may receive IP addresses, browser/device information, session identifiers, and diagnostic information when delivering their services.
Do not submit consumer financial applications, identity documents, payment details, sensitive personal records, or personal information unnecessary for vehicle-inventory analysis. Tell us promptly if information was submitted accidentally.
Why we use information
We use information to authenticate users, enforce dealership access, import inventory, retrieve market evidence, calculate and retain analyses, send invitations and service messages, support users, investigate errors and misuse, maintain security, administer the pilot, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. We do not use identifiable dealership uploads or confidential settings to train general-purpose AI models.
For dealership-controlled workspace information, we generally process information to provide the service under the dealership's instructions. For our own account administration, security, support, and legal records, we determine the applicable purposes. Specific legal roles depend on applicable law and any data processing agreement.
Who receives information
Authorized users within your dealership can access information according to their assigned role. Authorized Company personnel and contracted providers may access information when necessary for hosting, authentication, delivery, support, security, or legal obligations. We do not publish your private workspace to other dealerships.
Our service uses Render for application/database hosting, Clerk for authentication, Resend for transactional email, and Auto.dev for automotive market evidence and vehicle identification. Auto.dev market searches send vehicle make/model/year and the dealership search ZIP/radius. When you choose VIN lookup, we send the submitted VINs to Auto.dev to retrieve vehicle identity details. These requests do not require account passwords or dealership profit targets. Each provider receives information relevant to its function. Providers may also process limited service/account information under their own policies and contracts.
We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, to an authorized recipient at your direction, or in a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable notice requirements. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use dealership workspace data for third-party advertising.
Cookies and international processing
The service and its authentication provider use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sign-in, protect sessions, and support service functionality. Blocking required cookies may prevent sign-in. Any optional tracking will be disclosed and subject to choices or consent where required. This notice does not assert that all provider cookies or telemetry have the same purpose.
Although the pilot targets US businesses and our selected hosting region is Ohio, providers may process information in other locations. We use applicable contractual safeguards where required; we do not promise that every processor or support operation is located exclusively in the United States.
Retention
We keep workspace data while the dealership relationship is active, as needed for saved analyses and service delivery. We review accounts that have been inactive for 180 days and contact the owner before closing and deleting a dormant workspace.
After closure or a verified dealership deletion request, we delete or de-identify workspace data in active systems within 30 days. Recovery backups may retain copies for up to 35 additional days. We restrict those copies to recovery and reapply deletions if restoring a backup.
We retain routine diagnostic/security logs for up to 90 days, closed support correspondence for up to 12 months, and minimal agreement/acceptance and deletion-completion records for up to six years after the relationship ends or the request is completed. Unused expired or revoked invitation records are removed within 30 days after expiry or revocation. Relevant records may be held longer only where necessary for a specific legal obligation, dispute, investigation, or security incident; we restrict access and review the need for continued retention. These exceptions do not justify retaining the entire workspace by default.
Deleting an individual user's access does not automatically delete the dealership's legitimate business records. We assess individual requests separately, including whether to remove or de-identify personal information embedded in those records. Providers may retain limited information they independently need for legal, security, or account-administration purposes, subject to their applicable obligations.
Requests and choices
Contact support@literallythefastest.com to request access, correction, an available export, account closure, or deletion. Depending on applicable law and circumstances, additional rights may apply. We verify identity and authority proportionately and do not ordinarily request sensitive identity documents. An individual request and a request to delete a dealership workspace require different authorization; we will not disclose one dealership's data to another requester.
We aim to acknowledge requests within five business days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We follow any shorter applicable legal deadline and explain any lawful exception or extension. Dealership administrators can manage user access, but users may also contact us directly about their personal information. Required service or security communications continue while necessary to provide the service.
Security, children, and changes
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service, including authenticated access and dealership authorization. No system is completely secure. Report suspected misuse or exposure to support@literallythefastest.com. We investigate and provide notifications required by applicable law and contract.
The service is for authorized adults at dealerships and is not directed to children under 18. Contact us if a child has submitted personal information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We publish dated versions of this notice and communicate material changes. We obtain consent where legally required before applying a materially different use to previously collected information.
